Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! To those of you anywhere close to Mumbai, the festive season is officially here! Hope you have a happy weekend!

#1 Dessert doesn’t always need to mean huge portions. Whether you’re practising portion control or just literally making dessert/dinner for two, I have the perfect blog for you. You may spend the weekend obsessing!

#2 I spent last Sunday brunching at Ellipsis. Needless to say, it was easily the best food I’ve had so far in my city. I also sampled cronuts for the first time! While the highlight of the meal was the exceptionally good food itself, I also loved chatting with the chef about all things Bombay. Here are some pictures from my meal:

#3 If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that I’m a big fan of Purple Foodie. Recently, she has been documenting her weeks spent at Le Cordon Bleu and I’ve really enjoyed reading them. Wholesome essay on trials and tribulations of cooking lobster while French chefs watch on? YES please!

#4 I’ve been reading and laughing all too loudly at my latest squeeze, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. It’s unapologetic and hilarious which makes for a winning combination. I like that the author not only embraces the weird but gives you a big thumbs up for it too. Read and look out for a particularly hilarious incident involving turkey.
